The POS error means that the thermometer probe was not positioned securely in the ear, and an accurate measurement was not possible. Our trouble shooting tip for this error is to take care that the positioning of the probe is correct and remains stable. If this does not work, we'd advise you to change the lens filter and reposition, and press start to begin a new measurement.
