Treasure hunting enthusiasts from around the world were involved in the development of this revolutionary new detector. Detect coins up to 10” (25 cm) deep with our world-renowned 11”DD (28 cm) elliptical waterproof searchcoil for increased depth, target separation, and ground coverage designed to minimize ground mineralization. The large LCD display includes a 99-segment Target-ID system, a 5-segment graphic indicator, mode indicator, battery level indicator, Ground-Grab alert, and an easy-to-navigate menu. 1 of 4 Audio ID tones will sound for any metal detected: V.C.O., low-tone, medium-tone or high-tone. The detector can be operated in any of 7 different modes each of which calibrates the operating parameters of the detector to different skill levels, applications or environments. Different Modes can be used for different detecting objectives and to best adapt to various ground and treasure conditions. Sensitivity and volume can be controlled with 10 different settings. Adjust the Ground setting from 0 to 99 for highest performance in more adverse conditions, such as saltwater beaches and highly mineralized soil. With the Pinpoint mode, searchcoil motion is not required, and will help yield more information about the target's shape and size and also find its exact location to facilitate extraction. What will you find? FEATURES Please, use only the batteries that are recommended. Take a particular attention to the safety instructions written in the user guide. A large LCD A large LCD panel displays current operating status at all times during operation in the field. Most common and inexpensive metal detectors also detect metal, but have three important limitations: discrimination, depth detection and ground balancing.Maximum depth is only possible for large metal objects. Example: A quarter can usually be detected from seven to ten inches deep. Using the following diagram as your guide, just follow these easy steps. http://www.bizlawyer.ro/userfiles/br-900cd-user-manual.xml

Using headphones (not supplied) with your metal detector not only extends battery life, but also makes it easier to identify subtle changes in the threshold levels for better detection results. Over time, your ears adapt to the set volume level, so a volume level that may not necessarily cause discomfort might still damage your hearing. It consists of an LCD display, probable target ID fields, and several touch pads. The control panel provides control and constant reference during all detector operations. Combined with its 3-Tone Audio Target Identification, the Land Ranger’s control panel provides as accurate a reference as possible while detecting in the field. Some rusted oxidized iron may occasionally register in the SILVER RANGE. These touch pads are used to set detector operation. ALL METAL SMART TRAC is used to select the ALL METAL mode of operation. Arrows also appear at the top of the LCD display, pointing to the probable target detected in the Probable Target ID fields. TARGET Readout The TARGET readout displays general detector operating information. All are used to monitor the detector’s operation, and the SENSITIVITY and LEVEL dials are used in conjunction with touch pads on the control panel to adjust the detector’s sensitivity.PRESET 2 Rejects pull-tabs, iron and all objects rejected in PRESET 1 mode. Before you can customize targets, you must first select the size of iron to eliminate. IR3 appears in the TARGET readout. 5. Press REJECT four times to select IR4. IR4 appears in the TARGET readout. 6. Press ACCEPT after your selection to “lock-in” the iron discrimination level. The detector does not have to be in motion in this mode. To adjust sensitivity in ALL METAL mode For maximum sensitivity, you should hear a slight threshold hum while operating in ALL METAL mode. Wrong Do not swing the coil like a pendulum. Raising the coil during the sweep or at the end of the sweep will cause false readings. Move slowly—hurried movement will only cause you to miss targets. It will respond loudly to many targets for which other detectors might only emit a weak signal. As a result, the detector may emit false, trash-induced signals that seem confusing. Coinshooting opportunities abound—even your own yard may yield some interesting old coins. You can search for coins just about anywhere—parks, baseball fields, yards, dirt parking lots and swimming areas are only a few of the many possibilities. Before you undertake a search for relics, first do some research in your local library or on the Internet. Look up old newspapers and find out more about your community’s history. Discover what historical events may have taken place in your locality and where historical landmarks are hidden from present day progress. This will lower the sensitivity and narrow the detection field, thus minimizing detection of metal objects surrounding the desired target. DISCRIMINATION mode If you are relic hunting in DISCRIMINATION mode, you want the unit to detect all types of metal, including iron objects. There are many possibilities, including playing fields where a variety of sports take place, beach areas, playgrounds, and sandboxes. When jewelry hunting, it is not uncommon to find many coins in the process of digging up rings. You may need to adjust the detector’s sensitivity;. The following suggestions will help you care for your metal detector so that you can enjoy it for years. Handle the metal detector gently and carefully. Dropping it can damage circuit boards and cases and can cause the metal detector to work improperly. http://www.drupalitalia.org/node/73056

I've had them awhile and I've used them with my F75, Impact and Gold Kruzer, V3 and Etrac. Audio wise I find them to be on par with the White's Prostars. I don't have any problem recommending them and they are reasonably priced. They are weatherproof to IPX4 specifications to withstand the harshest weather conditions. Our Headphones have superior sound quality, dual volume control and are noise isolating. One of those brand detectors I had an eye on before folks in the US got wind of them. At the time they were the V3 version. Think I was the first to post about them before someone took interest in them and decided to bring them over. Which created lots of drama for a number of years before vanishing. When offered the V5, I did not hesitate, may not get another chance as they don't seem appear on the market. https://cfdcnv.com/images/bounty-hunter-gold-digger-metal-detector-manual.pdf

Was up for the challenge see if I can get this machine to perform.Took it out to my favorite soccer field with a running track this morning. Got wet a bit. Knew they had a sprinkler system, never knew it actually worked. Found out it does. Every 20 minutes another three start up and the previous three shut down. They circle the field twice. So I set the Bliss up like my bench test. Did a manual ground balance, so easy took a minute, piece of cake. Guess a 10 turn GB pot won't be needed after all. Took all of about 40 minutes to get used to it. Stable, smooth.Have to say it felt like I used this detector for a long time. Just felt like all the beep and digs I have used wrapped up into one. Just a heck of a lot deeper!!! For the most part only had to adjust threshold a bit now and then, damp and dry dirt. And at one point had some EMI, not bad but, it was there. All I did was adjust the frequency up a bit and drop the Threshold a tiny bit. I was ready to dig a lot of trash and figuring my knee was going to pay for it later. Really surprised that I found very little trash, it was there, could hear. It was easy to tell the canslaw, iron, nails from coins just listening to the duration and sharpness of the target signal. Easy to size a target. Setting the Disc level and Disc depth at the particular setting and using the three position disc toggles, really worked great. In a weird way, kind of reminds me how I used the DeepTech Vista X with the two disc controls, standard and alternate in conjunction with adjustable two tone disc control. Even thou the Blisstool V5 is a single tone detector, it does give a lot of target information. Pinpointing was a little iffy at first, using the Makro PulseDiver Pinpointer was needed to zoom in on the target. Later in the hunt, was able to pinpoint with the coil almost dead center on top of the target. The PulseDive pinpointer made locating the target even easier. http://www.leesii.com/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/1627493bfdc1fb---brother-dcp-165c-repair-manual.pdf

Couple notes about the Bliss and the pinpointer, had to keep the coil far away from it. It would cause EMI. Did not make an attempt to change the PD frequency as I was too busy having fun. Second note, the headphones I was using pretty well muffled the audio from the PD. So it was switched to vibrate mode, found I really like that mode. Hunted for about 4.5 hours this morning.Had to stop at that point. Dug only 3 pieces of foil, foil rejection was excellent, was thinking to myself, this was just like my Mirage Pi. This is with the Gain set at minimum. The Bliss V5 from what I saw today is an excellent Canadian clad machine. Real happy with its performance, feel and balance. Thought about acquiring another Tesoro or possibly some deeper beep and dig, no longer looking. Think the Bliss covers about all my needs and then some as a beeper. Definitely a keeper. The Blisstool is now one of those obscure machines you rarely see or hear about these days, too bad so many that bought one sold them pretty early on. Some couldn't wrap their head around how the controls function and work. Then there are those that were able to, found they were excellent detectors with lots of potential and had excellent success with them. Looking forward to using the V5 much more.Over the years I owned the following. Right as of this moment I still have a DFX, V3i, and Goldmaster 24K I got in the fall of 2018.Unfortunately, I just do not see that as being very likely. The name may continue, but White's as an industry leader is probably nothing more now than a memory. It's hard to believe that a company that produced something as sophisticated as the V3i in 2009 is now done. I was still harboring a hope that somehow a V4 would see the light of day. In fact I figured they either pull a rabbit out of their hat, or it was over. Unfortunately it proved to be the latter. My V3i is in pristine condition, and I am going to treat it with kid gloves now. www.cn-zsm.com/d/files/carvin-dcm-2000-service-manual.pdf

If there was ever a detector that might become a collectors item, the V3i is it. I do not think we will see anything remotely like it ever again.I always felt a little bad about the MX Sport debacle, so it was nice to end things on an upbeat note.Hope ya like it! 0 out of 5 stars Take it from someone who's owned all three of the detectors I just mentioned, the Land Ranger Pro packs a lot of features for the price, but it will never truly compete with Garrett's AT Pro or especially the AT Max. Having said that, I believe the Garrett AT Pro should be considered the baseline for what a good detector is. The LRP could probably detect deeper than what I’ve experienced, but turning the sensitivity above 8 causes the detector to give a LOT of false readings in my area. After chasing phantom tones with the LRP and digging enough dirt up to bury a car and finding nothing, I stopped running the sensitivity over 6 or 8, otherwise it’s just plain annoying. The AT Pro and Max can be a bit chatty when sensitivity is turned all the way up, but they're usually detecting something, not just going crazy over mineralized soil or big tree roots. Yes, my LRP loves tree roots. As much as detectorists hate them, like most detectors, the LRP enjoy chirping on pull tabs and bottle caps. These sound like the coins and rings you’ve been dreaming about digging up, but turn out to be trash when dug up. Now if you’re one of those guys who digs every signal no matter what, then don’t worry about what I just said (and you probably don’t use a Bounty hunter anyway). Iron disc: In light-iron trash like a nail here and there, the LRP’s iron disc does fairly good at discriminating, but in medium to heavy iron trash the LRP sounds like you’ve hit the jackpot due to the conductivity of all the iron. With no pro-tones, the LRP can be hard to tell if you’ve found a coin or just a few nails. Once again, Garrett’s iron disc grunts like a caveman and let’s you know there’s iron below no matter how conductive it is. I've been very impressed with Garrett's iron disc. So what do I not like about the Bounty Hunter LRP. One of my biggest complaints about the LRP is the bubble buttons. This may sound small, but it's HUGE when you're actually in the field with the detector. https://www.partyshuttlebus.com.au/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/1627493ddeef86---brother-dcp-165c-printer-user-manual.pdf

The Precision Point (PP) button on the LRP simply is not reliable. This is a known issue, just Google it. Yes, there's mods you can do to fix it, like taking the unit apart and soldering a separate button for the PP, but Bounty Hunter should have this issue fixed by now. To summarize what the PP button issue is, the button (no matter how you push it) is intermittent which makes the Precision Point hard to use and almost worthless at times. There’s a lot more I could review and talk about, but most everything has been covered many times by other reviewers. To summarize, the Bounty Land Ranger Pro is probably the best, cheap detector out there, but it falls short in almost every area when compared to mid range detectors like the Garrett AT Pro. If this is your first detector, or you're upgrading from another Bounty Hunter, you're bound to be very impressed with the LRP. Keep this in mind, everything the Land Ranger Pro can do, the AT Pro can do better, and sometimes much better. You’ll be glad you did. So why 4 stars after a critical review. Because even with its quirks, the Bounty Hunter Land Ranger Pro does what it's advertised to do (minus the annoying PP button) at a price that won't break the bank. The long term members gave it their nod of approval and it is worthy of their respect. That was the test for this product in my view. Recommended for people serious about the hobby. And yes it has a small owners manual (contrary to what other reviewers stated. Could they have left it in the box. It was lightly taped to the inside wall.). Bottom line---it works great. Needs a learning curve to fully benefit. Patience is a virtue. The Pin Pointer button does not engage easily and solidly. You need to fool with the button to find the sweet spot were it will stay engaged. Same with the ground grab. This is my second Bounty hunter pro, the first one's PP button is now completely shot and the ground grab is on its way out too. cmf-inc.com/ckfinder/userfiles/files/carvin-dcm-150-manual.pdf

I love the way this detector works and how the ground grab can be manually adjusted. Too bad they can't get the buttons right. So far it seems to be doing great.very light weight and easy to use. I found a few objects but nothing with old coins just yet. The LRP seems to be an improvement over the other Bounty Hunters I have used 6-7 years back. But after I saw the Land ranger Pro, my interest in MDing rekindled and so far, even though I haven't hit on any old coins, I'm not gonna abandon the hobby. I just need to get out and find, or get permissions in older places where relics may be located.I have a whites treasurepro that I absolutely love and bought this as a backup and for the girlfriend but I swing this detector a lot!!! The recovery speed destroys the recovery speed of the White's TreasurePro. The coin mode is equivalent to the high trash mode on my treasurepro so when hunting parks this thing is a coin retrieving monster. It will beep here and there but it tells the operator absolutely when there's a good target. If the beep isn't repeatable and tight, it's garbage and move on. The vdi numbers on good targets are so tight they barely move. The target id stays the same it moves maybe one number up or down. My treasurepro can jump around five or more numbers on the scale either direction but repeat enough to confirm a good target, but the bounty hunter (and another fisher detector I own which is also by first Texas) is just amazingly tight with lightening fast recovery speed. The photo is a couple hours spent at a supposedly hunted out park (in an area I'd hunted myself) including 2 wheat back pennies at about 5 inches.Did a bit of research and it's liked in the US, it has functions on it more expensive metal detectors have like Ground Grab etc. It's a First Texas machine who make Teknetics, Fisher as well as Bounty Hunter. From what I'm gathering it's the same machine as the Teknetics Liberator. Already found old buttons and my first coin which was 17th century. Can't compare to other machines but it seems a good machine with all its functions and is light to handle.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Those willing to go beyond the twitterpation phase of owning a metal detector will realize the Land Ranger’s full potential and will maximize it to increase detecting success. From a young age I always had the knack to find coins, notes, wallets and more. All of that was without the use of technology. I look forward to sharing with you some amazing tech that will make your treasure hunt a lot easier. It has a 5 segment active depth indicator and a Pin Point Mode that displays depth inches. It has adjustable Sensitivity, Volume, Discrimination, Notch and V-Break variable tone breakpoint. It has our one-button Ground Grab ground balance with manual override and 7 search modes. These modes vary from pre-set operation for beginners to maximum control for the more experienced. This is a metal detector that won’t outgrow your skill level. So me and my Daughter took it to a local park close by and I could not believe the quality, sensitivity and features this machine has. We were out less than 2 hours. But I'm sold on the LRP. You're getting a high end machine for a low end price. Thanks Bounty Hunter! My second detector was a BH Pioneer 101 that I purchased 23 years ago, and it still performs flawlessly. Well I wanted an upgrade and after a lot of research chose the new Land Ranger Pro at the end of last summer. So many features and awesome depth this new Bounty Hunter is great. Still learning about all the features can't wait to go out again. Also the Bounty Hunter pinpointer works great. I was almost sold on a Garrett Ace 350 or a Fisher F4.The VDi is rock solid, depth rivals many more expensive machines and it has just enough adjustments to make you dangerous. If you are looking to step up from a Garrett 150, 250, 350 or the Fisher F2 maybe even the F4 or any other detector in that range it would be hard to go wrong with this one. Your email address will be kept private and only used to answer your question. Please contact the seller. This model features 7 preset modes that will have you out and hunting like a pro from day one. It is equipped with an 8” concentric search coil which can be fully submerged into water along with the bottom portion of the S-Rod. Like most metal detectors, the control housing up near your waist and the search coil cable plug connection into the housing, must be kept dry. This coil provides a good balance between depth and sensitivity and will detect coin sized targets to 8 - 10 inches down. From from finding coins and relics in the park to jewelry and more on the beach, this model is an ideal all around detector. Hunt for hours without fatigue. This is one lightweight, fully featured metal detector that lets you do it all and it SHIPS FREE in the continental USA! Each of these modes calibrates the operating parameters of the detector to different skill levels, applications or environments. These different Modes can be used for different detecting objectives and to best adapt to various ground and treasure conditions. You can choose from the following preset modes to start hunting right away: Coins, Jewelry, Artifacts, 2 Tones, 3 Tones, 4 Tones or All Metal. All soils contain minerals. Signals from ground minerals are often tens or hundreds of times as strong as the signal from a buried metal object. When the detector is calibrated to the soil, the result will be deeper target detection, quieter operation and more accurate target identification. The good news is that at the touch of a button, the Land Ranger Pro automatically adjusts the ground balance for your specific location. Adjust the Ground setting from 0 to 99 at the touch of a button. They have preset the discrimination to make treasure hunting fun. Iron, foil and aluminum junk targets are automatically removed while good targets are accepted. Do you have a special item you are looking to find OR do you have a better idea of what you want to reject. No problem! Just press the large Notch button to instantly accept or reject any category of target that you see along the Target Category Arc at the top of the display screen. The Land Ranger Pro makes it easy to remove junk and find more treasure. Every target with an ID less than or equal to 42 induces a low audible tone. The audio response of targets with IDs greater than 42 is not changed. While the Bounty Hunter Land Ranger Pro is a turn on and go machine, you can grow with this detector. Be in full control at all times! Just press the Sensitivity button to quickly increase or decrease the sensitivity of this easy to use detector. The friendly and intuitive design allows you to adjust the sensitivity from 1 to 10. The higher the sensitivity the greater depth and performance you will achieve. The Volume Control changes the loudness of the audio when targets are detected, and also the loudness of the keypad presses and warning sounds. You can achieve the ultimate comfort of audio response with the Land Ranger Pro.
