And i am so used to tuning by ear that i always get the right pitch whether its standard tuning or one fret lower or half step lower. I bought this Boss tuner to complete my pedalboard full of Boss pedals. The pedalboard has a slot on top that accomodates tuners with dimensions like the Boss tuner. Really a perfect fit and looks cool on top of the pedalboard. It is still a good tuner. I enjoy using it to see if my guitars are really accurately tuned by my ears. They always turn out to be properly tuned to standard. It depends if i want a half or whole step lower. I tune them by ear again and then use this Boss tuner to check if i did it correctly.
