The red light has come on and it is not cold (We now have tenants in the house) so it has been switched off, defrosted, switched on again.no change. From the previous reply I am assuming that it is probably compressor, evaporator, gas or pipework. The slight complicating factor is that the kitchen has been built around it, so there is no access to the back of it. I just want to check - there is no point in getting anyone technical in until it is possible to get at the back of the fridge is there. I know it is a stupid question. http://www.emjar.pl/zdjecia/fck/bosch-prio-cordless-sander-manual.xml

The Appliance Technician I'm going to connect you with knows all the tricks and shortcuts. Is there anything else important you think the Appliance Technician should know. I don't think so - my tenants can't find the instruction manual and the Bosch website is claiming it doesn't exist, so other than the defrost etc. I think nothing else has been tried.NVQ Level 2 electronics manufacturers training courses. Verified Hi If defrosting it hasnt cured it then its going to be a fault on the system side which is either the compressor or gas in there. For either of these im afraid the appliance will need to be pulled out to access the back of it as its all done from the back. But as this is a built in then if it was installed correctly then it should come out easy enough. Theres normally 2 screws at the top, 2 at the bottom. A screw either side in the middle bewteen the 2 doors and then the screws holding the doors on. As this can only be fixed by a fridge engineer as they will have the correct tools and equipment then they will be able to get it out for you as this is what we normally do when we fix built in appliances. Sorry its not good news but if you need anymore info just get back to me. Ask Your Own UK Appliance Question Customer reply replied 4 years ago It was bought free-standing and the built in kitchen was added, so I think it is simply as tricky as it looks on the surface. However, your answer is really helpful in terms of what we do about the problem - I can get the guys who did the kitchen to get it out for me and put a new one in, rather than trying to also arrange paying an appliance technician and parts. Thanks and all the best. Food has been slowly defrosting Hi, I have a Bosch KGU30604GB. Food has been slowly defrosting and the appliance is making loud 'cracking sounds. Any idea's? I've pulled it out and cleaned the grilling on the back. Yesterday afternoon, the red Alarm indicator came on, and has been on ever since. We have a Bosch Classixx fridge- hello Bosch boffins. The fridge part I have a Bosch KGU30604GB fridge freezer. The fridge part works fine but the freezer temp warning light keeps coming on and off. The Temperature warning red light is flasher and warning sound buzzing - this has been going on for about a day. The freezer is still working fine. However, there was very little ice on the evaporator (is this the aluminium tray at the bottom with an element in it?) or the fan or exchanger, so I don't think this is the problem. Anyway, I defrosted what little ice there was with a hairdryer. The fan is working normally. The compressor also seems to be working normally- no unusual noises, and it's warm, but not hot. I dusted the components at the back of the fridge while it was out. What do you think the problem might be, if it's not the things I've already looked at. Thanks in advance for your help, James. Verified Hiya, Sorry for the long delay in getting to your question. The evaporator (the cooling pipework) is the mass of pipework you exposed in the rear of the freezer compartment. Lack of refrigerant, blockage or a weak compressor. I'm afraid for this fault, you'll need a refrigeration engineer to determine the exact cause. Hope this helps Thanks Techdesk, Field Service Engineer Category: UK Appliance Satisfied Customers: 16,409 Experience: Whitegoods engineer working for a multibranded national company in the UK. Verified Techdesk and 87 other UK Appliance Specialists are ready to help you Ask your own question now Customer reply replied 7 years ago Hello, thanks for your reply. I guess I'll have to get someone in to have a look. How much do you think an engineer would charge to have a look and give me their opinion. UK Appliance Technician: Techdesk, Field Service Engineer replied 7 years ago Hiya, It sounds like a system problem right enough. You really need to call local refrigeration engineers to get an idea of the cost I'm afraid as the labour rates vary wildly around the country. www.drmarlenebothma.co.za/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/1626d8b8a4c97a---3m-tape-dispenser-manual.pdf

Yesterday, I turned the temperature setting to Max, switched on the Superfreeze option and left it like this all night. But at least my food should be safe now for a few days. If the compressor was faulty, or if it had lost gas, would it even be able to get so cold (albeit by setting everything to Max). What would a system fault mean. Maybe a new logic board, or a new thermostat. UK Appliance Technician: Techdesk, Field Service Engineer replied 7 years ago Hiya, If it's definitely at -20 inside it shouldn't have the red light on. Are you measuring the temperature with a thermometer or relying on the machine. A system fault is the compressor, evaporator, gas and pipework. Superfreeze basically bypasses the thermostat or temperature sensors and runs the compressor continuously. However, as I said before, the light shouldn't be on. Thanks Ask Your Own UK Appliance Question Customer reply replied 7 years ago I've got a thermometer sitting in the top basket, my freezer doesn't have an internal temperature readout. So, I've switched off the superfreeze, and set the temp to -20 again (where I normally have it set). As it's now colder than the setting, we'll see if the red light goes off. I hope it's just a sensor, as this shouldn't be too expensive. Anyway, all will be revealed tomorrow when the engineer comes. UK Appliance Technician: Techdesk, Field Service Engineer replied 7 years ago Hiya, It's a strange one, but if it's down to -20, then the system is ok. Good luck with the repair. Thanks Ask Your Own UK Appliance Question Customer reply replied 7 years ago Just to add a new twist to the tale, I wondered if I could reset the red light by turning the power off then back on. So I tried this, and the red light has gone off now. Is it possible the fault could have corrected itself. UK Appliance Technician: Techdesk, Field Service Engineer replied 7 years ago Hiya, It's possible but extremely strange if it has. Put it on normal settings and see what happens. Let me know. BANGDIENTUNHK.COM/upload/files/cannon-sport-troll-manual-downrigger.pdf

Yes, you can always cancel the engineer visit, but I'd not leave it to the last minute. But at least I know now I can force the freezer to get cold again by temporarily cranking up the settings (to keep my food frozen). I'll let you know what the engineer finds. Thanks Ask Your Own UK Appliance Question Customer reply replied 7 years ago Engineer came round yesterday, and carried out all the diagnostic tests. Since everything else was ok, he concluded that the computer module must be faulty, and he replaced this. Since then it's been fine, so that must have been where the problem was. It wasn't cheap, but much less than a new fridge-freezer. Customer reply replied 7 years ago Hi, there is one extra thing you could help me with- could you tell me how I can get into my freezer's diagnostic mode, and once in, which buttons test which functions. Then how do I then get back into normal mode. Also, the engineer used a power supply box with a current meter. Do I need to use one of these, or can I access diagnostic mode with the fridge-freezer simply plugged into the mains. Was this answer helpful. However, instead of having a discharge valve in the barrel, it uses a flow divider mounted on top of the engine, which controls the discharge rate and evenly distributes the fuel to stainless steel injection lines to the intake ports of each cylinder. The TCM system is even more simple. It has no venturi, no pressure chambers, no diaphragms, and no discharge valve. The control unit is fed by a constant-pressure fuel pump. The control unit simply uses a butterfly valve for the air, which is linked by a mechanical linkage to a rotary valve for the fuel. Inside the control unit is another restriction, which controls the fuel mixture. The pressure drop across the restrictions in the control unit controls the amount of fuel flow, so that fuel flow is directly proportional to the pressure at the flow divider. In fact, most aircraft that use the TCM fuel injection system feature a fuel flow gauge that is actually a pressure gauge calibrated in gallons per hour or pounds per hour of fuel.Fuel pressure is similar to a single-point injection system. Please help improve this section by adding citations to reliable sources. ( August 2020 ) ( Learn how and when to remove this template message ) MPI systems can be sequential, in which injection is timed to coincide with each cylinder's intake stroke; batched, in which fuel is injected to the cylinders in groups, without precise synchronization to any particular cylinder's intake stroke; or simultaneous, in which fuel is injected at the same time to all the cylinders. The intake is only slightly wet, and typical fuel pressure runs between 40-60 psi. Please help improve this article by adding citations to reliable sources. Unsourced material may be challenged and removed. ( May 2010 ) ( Learn how and when to remove this template message ) This fuel is then sent through tubing to the injectors, which inject it into the combustion chamber. The header has a high pressure relief valve to maintain the pressure in the header and return the excess fuel to the fuel tank. The fuel is sprayed with the help of a nozzle that is opened and closed with a needle valve, operated with a solenoid. When the solenoid is not activated, the spring forces the needle valve into the nozzle passage and prevents the injection of fuel into the cylinder. The solenoid lifts the needle valve from the valve seat, and fuel under pressure is sent in the engine cylinder. Third-generation common rail diesels use piezoelectric injectors for increased precision, with fuel pressures up to 1,800 bar or 26,000 psi. However, this was less efficient than the now common direct injection in which initiation of combustion takes place in a depression (often toroidal ) in the crown of the piston. Please help improve this article by adding citations to reliable sources. Unsourced material may be challenged and removed. ( August 2020 ) ( Learn how and when to remove this template message ) By virtue of better dispersion and homogeneity of the directly injected fuel, the cylinder and piston are cooled, thereby permitting higher compression ratios and earlier ignition timing, with resultant enhanced power output. More precise management of the fuel injection event also enables better control of emissions. Along with this, the engine can operate with stratified ( lean-burn ) mixtures, and hence avoid throttling losses at low and part engine load. Some direct-injection systems incorporate piezoelectronic fuel injectors. With their extremely fast response time, multiple injection events can occur during each cycle of each cylinder of the engine. Some manufacturers combine direct injection with port injection, such as in the Toyota 2GR-FSE V6 and Volkswagen EA888 I4, which helps to prevent carbon build-up.A gas-filled hollow core is then formed along the centerline inside the injector due to centrifugal force of the liquid sheet. Because of the presence of the gas core, the discharge coefficient is generally low.Residual pressure can remain in the fuel lines long after an injection-equipped engine has been shut down. This residual pressure must be relieved, and if it is done so by external bleed-off, the fuel must be safely contained.Retrieved 28 June 2016. Retrieved 1 May 2015. Retrieved 26 August 2017.
